Six horses claimed on St Leger Day
Six horses were claimed on the 13-race St Leger programme at Caymanas Park last Saturday.
Legendary Pleasure was claimed from Fitzgerald Richards by Clifford Atkinson Jnr acting as both trainer and owner for $250,000;
Blessedness was claimed from Victor Williams by Anthony Nunes for Stephan Narinesingh for $250,000, and Persian Belle was taken from Neville Peralto by Renex Burrell for Errol Subratie, also for $250,000 from the ninth race.
In the 10th race, Dennis Lee claimed Aunt Hilda for himself for $350,000 from Patrick Fong; the Welsh Soutar trained Dutchess Uriel was claimed by Marlon Anderson for Diamonds for $350,000, and Anderson lost Shade Of Beauty for $350,000 to Donovan Plummer acting as both trainer and owner.
