Today’s Horoscope – August 22, 2016

HAPPY BIRTHDAY for Monday, August 22, 2016: This year you often exhibit assertive behaviour. One-on-one relating frequently draws unexpected results. You will feel more grounded than you have in the past. You also will have more insight and vision. If you are single, don’t settle until you have found Mr or Ms Right. Many of you have met this person already. If you are attached, the two of you relate best together without anyone else around. Go on more spontaneous dates or try to recreate your first date. TAURUS seems to be more understanding than you originally thought.

ARIES (March 21-April 19) Push yourself to get a lot done in the morning, when you feel more energised and capable of selling your ideas. You could start acting fussy later in the day. Details count, but try not to get too caught up in them. Focus on the big picture. Tonight: Run errands on the way home.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20) You’ll perk up after getting a certain project done. Your creativity energises those around you. Consider other possibilities more clearly. You tend to do the unexpected. Know that you are in control of the moment. Tonight: As you like it.

GEMINI (May 21-June 20) Use the daylight hours to the max. By the evening, you will need to pull back. Others understand where you are coming from. Settle in, and be aware of what others are thinking. Your interactions could resolve a problem. Tonight: Not to be found.

CANCER (June 21-July 22) Accept the limelight, and have confidence that you can do whatever is necessary to accomplish a key goal. You’ll get the support of others to achieve a long-term goal. Let your admirers know how much you appreciate them. Tonight: Call several friends.

LEO (July 23-Aug 22) You might need to make a major decision. Understand what is happening between you and a loved one. Realise how impossible it might be to follow through on a quickly made decision. Try to clear the air. Tonight: Share news with a friend and get feedback.

VIRGO (Aug 23-Sept 22) Others seek you out. Be willing to state why you have made certain choices. Read between the lines. Let others show you a different path. A call or conversation with someone at a distance will help you see the big picture. Tonight: Your attitude illuminates the moment.

LIBRA (Sept 23-Oct 22) You could feel as if you are going back and forth with someone who is challenging. You will gain helpful information by lying low and saying little. Trust a partner or loved one who shares important news with you. Tonight: Togetherness results in even more feedback.

SCORPIO (Oct 23-Nov 21) Defer to others, and you’ll be able to find out what is going on with a close friend or associate. Take news with a grain of salt, but also keep in mind that this person rarely exaggerates. You’ll have time to mull over your response. Tonight: Go with someone else’s idea.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov 22-Dec 21) You might be prone to do the unexpected, but perhaps a loved one will surprise you instead. You certainly add excitement to the moment. Allow your creativity to flourish, and share what comes up. Goodwill is all around you. Tonight: Know when to call it a night.

CAPRICORN (Dec 22-Jan 19) You come from a solid position. The unexpected is likely to occur around your home life. The conversations you have could be very important. You’ll have a sense of what is happening before it actually takes place. Tonight: Allow your imagination to play a stronger role.

AQUARIUS (Jan 20-Feb 18) Keep conversations open and nonjudgmental. One-on-one relating becomes stronger and more necessary to improving your communication skills. Understand what is coming toward you in the near future. Tonight: Buy a favourite dessert on the way home.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20) Keep conversations moving, and don’t get hung up on the details of a problem. You’ll open up to changes later in the day. Be sure to keep a close eye on your money, as you easily could make a mistake. Count your change carefully. Tonight: Catch up on a friend’s weekend.
