Mourinho wants more signings, and more transfer news
The transfer window officially closes tomorrow and not one hour goes by without another done deal or rumour surfacing. Here are some of the latest transfer offerings from some of the major European clubs:
Jose wants more transfers
After recently adding Paul Pogba to their roster for a huge world record fee, Manchester United are reportedly on the search for more players to add to their squad, due to the request of Jose Mourinho. The Portuguese is said to want two more players to bolster his defence with countrymen Fabinho (Monaco) and Jose Fonte (Southampton) being the likely candidates. However, in order to complete these moves, two members from the current United squad would have to be let go.
Chadli switches White Hart Lane for West Brom
Nacer Chadli today completed a move from Tottenham Hotspur to West Bromwich Albion for a reported £13 million. The 27-year-old signed a four-year contract after scoring 25 goals in 119 games for Spurs.
Julian Draxler set for PSG?
If reports are to be believed, PSG are ready to make a massive €75 million bid for the Wolfsburg and Germany midfielder. Roger Wittmann, who is Draxler’s agent, is said to have been in Paris trying to finalize a deal with the French champions.
Arsene Wenger confirms Perez and Mustafi deals
Just minutes after their first win of the season at Watford on Saturday, Arsenal coach Arsene Wenger confirmed that both Shkodran Mustafi and Lucas Perez have passed their medicals ahead of a proposed move to the London club. According to the British media, Mustafi cost the club £35m from Valencia while the Deportivo La Coruna striker Perez had a £17 million release clause which Arsenal triggered to acquire his services.
Barcelona complete Alcacer signing
Valencia star striker Paco Alcacer is on the verge of a dream move to the La Liga champions after he arrived in Barcelona on Monday to complete his medical after a fee of £25m was agreed between the two clubs.
Schalke wants Chelsea defender on loan
Kurt Zouma could be on his way to Germany after the Bundasliga club expressed their interest in acquiring the French defender on loan. The 21-year-old is battling back to fitness after rupturing the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee against Manchester United in February. Chelsea are also said to be in talks to sign James Rodriguez and Marcos Alonso from Real Madrid and Fiorentina respectively.
