It’s time to talk smart agriculture
Tomorrow Karl Samuda’s Ministry of Industry, Commerce, Agriculture and Fisheries will host the second Climate-Smart Agriculture Symposium under the theme: “Growing Agriculture and Incomes in the face of Climate Change”.
The symposium is being staged in collaboration with the USAID-funded Jamaica Rural Economy and Ecosystems Adapting to Climate Change II (Ja REEACH II) project, beginning at 9:00 am at the Jamaica Pegasus hotel, New Kingston.
Local, regional and international organisations working with and supporting Jamaica’s agriculture sector will share experiences and lessons learnt in climate-smart agriculture approaches.
