Today’s Horoscope – September 12, 2016

HAPPY BIRTHDAY for Monday, Sept 12, 2016: This year your thoughts often centre on building greater emotional and/or financial security. You will be able to achieve that goal as long as you do not lose your focus. You will be able to convince others how important your dreams are to you. If you are single, you might surprise yourself with how possessive you could become with one specific suitor. Know that you’ll need to build your self-confidence if you wish to continue seeing this person. If you are attached, the two of you can be quite the powerful couple, especially when it comes to achieving long-desired goals. AQUARIUS introduces you to a hobby or sport.

ARIES (March 21-April 19): You could feel out of sorts, as demands and requests seem to flood your desk, e-mail and/or voicemail. Accomplish what you must. You might react oddly to someone doing the unexpected. You need space, and you will create it. Tonight: Detach and look at the big picture.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20): You have the ability to see the big picture almost immediately. You will be stunned by an insight you receive, and might decide to follow through on this new knowledge. Do some much-needed research and talk to one or two experts. Tonight: Count on a late night.

GEMINI (May 21-June 20): You choose to work with individuals rather than groups. You might feel as if everything is out of your control, as many people around you seem to act in unexpected and/or unusual ways. Detach, and then look at your day. Would you have done anything differently? Tonight: Out late.

CANCER (June 21-July 22): You might want someone else to make the first move. You’ll want to acquiesce to this person on other matters in order to plant the idea of dominance in his or her mind. Once you do, you will be happy with the results. Tonight: Have an enlightening discussion with a friend.

LEO (July 23-Aug 22): A new piece of information or a sudden insight might push you to reassess an emotionally charged situation that could have a big impact on your day-to-day interactions. Let someone else know where you stand. This person is likely to support you. Tonight: Share news.

VIRGO (Aug 23-Sept 22): Your creativity and positive attitude toward a new friend will emerge in a unique way. Someone to whom you are very connected could surprise you. You might want to veer in a new direction. Listen to news with more of an open mind. Tonight: Head to the gym.

LIBRA (Sep 23-Oct 22): You come from a stable point of view. You often wonder whether you should head in the direction that most people see as appropriate. Loved ones will play into your decision. Someone might whisper gossip into your ear. Do not take this person too seriously. Tonight: All smiles.

SCORPIO (Oct 23-Nov 21): You might need to shuffle around some plans. Communication excels, with the exception of one person you work with or someone who affects your day-to-day life. Your confidence is likely to break through and draw others toward you. Tonight: Run errands, then head home.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov 22-Dec 21): Deal with financial matters first to get the results you desire. You are much more upbeat than you have been in a while. A loved one’s abrupt behaviour could startle you. You might have no choice but to accept this unexpected intrusion into your daily life. Tonight: Fun and games.

CAPRICORN (Dec 22-Jan 19): You finally are behind the steering wheel, and you won’t tolerate back-seat drivers. For now, you might decide that it is your way or the highway. Let laughter emerge when you experience a backfire. You will need someone to pitch in; just ask. Tonight: Dinner out.

AQUARIUS (Jan 20-Feb 18): You might be electrified by some news that gets you out of your bah humbug Monday mood. You are likely to express a wide range of emotions. Detach in order to see what is going on around you. Tonight: Keep good news to yourself for just a little while longer.

PISCES (Feb 19-March 20): Use the daylight hours to the max. Keep a close eye on your finances, because a lot could change — and quite quickly at that. You might not feel in sync with all the different opportunities that head your way. Don’t take any risks unless you feel secure! Tonight: Listen to a friend.
