Tony Roy unleashes
Singer Tony Roy, a stalwart of the Baltimore/Washington DC reggae scene, has a new song out — the self-produced Bad Dog.
According to Roy, “
Bad Dog is about my (personal) security without using knives and guns.”
Roy was in Kingston recently doing recording sessions at Anchor studios.
Bad Dog is expected to be the lead song from his third album, which is earmarked for release in 2017.
His first album,
Waiting List, came out in 2011. The second,Road Block, was released last year.
Originally from St Thomas, Tony Roy has lived in Baltimore since 1997. He has established himself there and ‘DC’, thanks to regular gigs at venues like JoJo’s, the Bukom Café, and Cross Roads.
