Gas prices down $0.42, diesel down $0.53
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see a decrease at the pumps in the prices of gasoline and diesel, effective Thursday, October 20, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
87- and 90-octane gasoline will be sold for $109.44 and $111.10 per litre, respectively, down by $0.42 each.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $102.48 per litre following a decrease of $0.53, while ultra-low sulphur diesel is up by $0.20, and will be sold for $111.75 per litre.
Meanwhile, kerosene decreased in price by $0.63 and will be sold for $90.78 per litre.
Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $36.89 per litre, up by $0.08 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $44.41 per litre after an increase of $0.50.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-up to these prices.
