MoBay United welcome Waterhouse in RSPL
TUCKER, St James — Defending champions Montego Bay United (MBU) will face an improving Waterhouse team at WesPow Park on Sunday when the Red Stripe Premier League continues with the seventh round of matches.
After getting off to a horrid start, losing their first four games by a 7-1 goal aggregate, Waterhouse have rebounded in a big way to win their last two games, dragging themselves off the foot of the table to 11th place.
Last Sunday, with the veteran Jermaine “Tuffy” Anderson back in the team and scoring, Waterhouse will be seeking to make it three wins in a row.
But they could find a stubborn MBU seeking to rebound from a frustrating outing against Harbour View last week.
Montego Bay United will face Arnett Gardens next Wednesday at WesPow Park and will be seeking to avoid going three games without a win, as they lost two weeks ago at Humble Lion and were held 0-0 by last-placed Harbour View at home on Sunday.
Despite creating several scoring chances, both Dino Williams and Allan Ottey were held by a determined Harbour View defence, and this Sunday they will face a Waterhouse defence that has not given up a goal in two outings.
