One of St Elizabeth’s most wanted men shot dead in St James
ST ELIZABETH, Jamaica — The police in St Elizabeth have confirmed that one of the most wanted men in that parish was shot dead in Mocho district, St James, this morning.
He is 30-year-old Dwight Williams, otherwise called ‘Dewie’, of Retirement district, St Elizabeth.
Williams was reportedly wanted for the September 15 shooting death of 26-year-old Renaldo Wallace, otherwise called ‘Bumps’, of Retirement district in the parish, and several counts of shootings.
Reports from the police are that about 6:18 am, residents heard groans coming from a house and made checks.
Williams was found on the floor with multiple gunshot wounds.
The police were summoned and he was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The police say investigations are continuing.
