Today’s Horoscope – October 20, 2016

HAPPY BIRTHDAY for Thursday, October 20, 2016: This year you alternate between being chatty and lively and being deep and reflective. You will note a tendency to be moodier than in previous years. Understand that this change in temperament occurs more frequently when you are out and about. If you are single, you meet people with ease; however, you sometimes feel that you are too intense or needy for others. Generally, your fears are not grounded. If you are attached, the two of you make many fun plans involving travel. You are likely to make a public commitment together. CANCER can unnerve you.

ARIES (March 21-April 19) Reach out to someone at a distance who can be aloof and somewhat testy at times. Your efforts will be well received by this person. Listen to a loved one who spends money easily but who can quickly resolve problems; he or she will offer suggestions. Tonight: Close to home.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20) Handle a money matter early in the day. By midday, you might need to make calls or attend a meeting and deal with different issues and ideas. Someone who plays a significant role in your life has many suggestions that could work for you. Tonight: Have an important chat.

GEMINI (May 21-June 20) You could be open to a change in the morning, but you’ll need to evaluate the financial implications first. Confusion surrounds an important decision involving a child. Curb a tendency to overcommit and get involved too deeply in a major project. Tonight: Make it your treat.

CANCER (June 21-July 22) Lie low in the morning and gather facts. You might realise that you’ll need to play a major role in what takes place in the afternoon. Your optimism and upbeat attitude make you a highly valued comrade. Try to share your ideas more often. Tonight: Whatever suits you.

LEO (July 23-Aug 22) A discussion will produce good results during the morning hours. By the afternoon, you will want to retreat and do some reflection. A loved one might try to share some news with you, but you could be closed down. Open up, and you’ll be glad you did. Tonight: Not to be found.

VIRGO (Aug 23-Sept 22) You’ve wanted to have a long-overdue discussion with a friend. However, you might not feel ready for this talk just yet. Financial benefits could be a possibility. A partner or loved one is likely to spurt out a very unique, creative idea that intrigues you. Tonight: Out late.

LIBRA (Sept 23-Oct 22) Your ability to get past a problem could lead to a pleasant yet unexpected opportunity. You might hear some information that surprises you. You will want to take off and leave your immediate environment in order to touch base with a very unique friend. Tonight: Be inspired.

SCORPIO (Oct 23-Nov 21) You are able to venture into a new area of discussion with a key person in your life. You could be pleased by what you hear. Your instincts seem to be right-on. Follow your gut. A friend has some gossip or a tale that is humorous to share. Tonight: Listen to a loved one’s news.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov 22-Dec 21) You might feel as if a partner is challenging. A friend is likely to express his or her caring. This person will let you know how important you are to him or her. In a sense, you’ll feel touched, but you also might wonder what he or she is holding back. Tonight: Till the wee hours.

CAPRICORN (Dec 22-Jan 19) Your mind is working overtime. You’ll accomplish a lot, but you also might want to schedule some time for yourself. You could find yourself in a social situation; take advantage of this moment. Create a calmer workspace. Tonight: Know when to call it quits.

AQUARIUS (Jan 20-Feb 18) Use the morning for more fun. Spend time with a child or loved one. By the afternoon, you will want to clear out some important calls and errands. Someone from a distance drops incredibly good news on you. Celebrate together in the near future. Tonight: Back to the grind.

PISCES (Feb 19-March 20) You could be feeling tense when you first wake up, but by midday, you’ll relax and be able to enjoy yourself. A friend or associate is likely to offer you an opportunity to grow and become more lucrative in your career. Tonight: Express your caring in a meaningful way.
