The Joy of Saving Pageant
The Portland Credit Union Celebrates 45 years of service to Portlanders.
For Credit Union Month Portland Co-operative Credit Union Limited has executed and will continue to execute numerous activities. This included an interactive radio broadcast on Stylz FM, Knock-Out Football competition in collaboration with Portland Football Association was launched, followed by an after party at Lynch Park in Buff Bay.
The International Credit Union week started with an official Church Service at the Church of God of Prophecy at Boundbrook, Port Antonio, under the theme “The Authentic Difference”. The staff and volunteers also participated in the Soup and Soap project in the Parish Capital by feeding the street people and the patients at the Infirmary.
Today is celebrated as International Credit Union Day; the Portland Credit Union will be at the Port Antonio Hospital issuing gift certificates to all Babies born on International Credit Union Day. Tomorrow will be Member Appreciation Day and the final activity for the month will be the month with the Joy of Saving Pageant.
The Joy of Saving Pageant will be held at the Port Antonio High School on Saturday October 29, 2016 at 7:30pm. The pageant is in its second year and features nine teenagers from four high schools in the parish each representing a saving product of the Credit Union. All our members are invited to attend.
