Colgate Oral Health Month Campaign
Colgate-Palmolive, the world’s leader oral care brand recommended by dentists worldwide, will again roll out its international oral care campaign in Jamaica and anticipates that October 2016 will be the best Oral Health Month yet.
Colgate intends that the month-long activities will build on last year’s successes and further promote positive oral health practices by creating a platform to highlight the benefits of good dental hygiene and oral care.
Throughout the month, Colgate will again facilitate a series of free dental checkups, at which educational oral health leaflets and Colgate toothpaste samples will be distributed. In addition, select Colgate products will be on special in leading stores to encourage the use of quality oral care products and good oral health practices.
The programme is part of an international project which has taken the Oral Health Month activities to over 80 countries across the world and in the Caribbean and it has been met with tremendous support from the various territories in which it has been implemented. Over the last years the school programme has made a continuous labour contacting our children and youngsters and educating them with good oral health habits. This programme reaches over 50 million kids around the world and over 100,000 in Jamaica each year.
This project is the most recent partnership between Colgate-Palmolive, the Jamaica Ministry of Health and the Jamaica Dental Association. The Company remains committed to promoting excellent oral healthcare in Jamaica year round with other educational and service initiatives.
