Jungle songs from Chuck Fenda
Concrete Jungle, Chuck Fenda’s sixth album, is being released today by Zojak Worldwide. The singer says it is his most complete work to date.
“We just want to reach the people on a spiritual level with this album. That’s why it is called Concrete Jungle: to reflect the struggles of the inner-city,” he said. “The album is stylistically different from my others in that it uses elements of lovers’ rock, R&B, and even dancehall.”
Concrete Jungle has collaborations which features Etana on That Place and Sasha on Natty Dread.
Jah Element , his previous album, was released in 2013.
For Chuck Fenda (given name Leshorn Whitehead), the album is a defining moment in his career.
“I want to take it to the level of a Bob Marley or a Burning Spear and other icons,” he said.
