It gives me tremendous joy and pleasure as Mayor to use this medium to share with the St. Elizabeth Technical High School as it celebrates 55 years of great achievement. Over the years, this institution has achieved tremendous growth academically and in athletics and as such, can compete with any other high school in Jamaica.

To the past and present Board, Principals, Teachers, members of the Administrative and Ancillary staff and students; I salute you for the tremendous contributions to this fine institution. You have done the Bread Basket Parish very proud.

To the students, those present and those who have left its

corridors I charge you to remember the relentless efforts of the

visionaries of this institution as they toiled over the years to

ensure that your school attains this great milestone.

As we celebrate together I pray that God continues to bless your institution and I trust that you will be able to reap the fruits of your labour, not only now but the many years to come.
