#LocalGovt16: ‘One, one’ election day workers vote at Mandeville Parish Church
MANCHESTER, Jamaica – Outdoor agents at the Mandeville Parish Church hall today said election day workers were coming “one,one” to cast their votes in the local government election.
OBSERVER ONLINE was told that it was not unusual for the voters to arrive at their own pace.
Members of the Jamaica Constabulary Force were seen on hand to provide security.
The outdoor agents said that there were no issues in conducting the process for the 99 Election Day workers set to vote at that location.
Election day workers, as well as members of the security force, go to the polls today in preparation for local government election on Monday.
