Slehdjan readies debut album
Slehdjan is upbeat about his debut album, due out in January on Future Records. Yet to be titled, it will have 15 songs.
“We have three songs from the album promoting right now… Parental Guidance, Lost Your Way and Mama Me A Guh Make It. We just serviced them to radio in Jamaica and the feedback has been very good so far,” he said.
From Gayle Town, Clarendon, Slehdjan was born Rupert Lawrence and attended Christiana High School. Now based in St Mary, he is signed to Future Records.
“Everybody is different when it comes to music. I am one of those who want to make a difference by doing good music with positive messages, because the youths need to hear the positivity. I have been through many struggles and right now mi just want to put out some good music to impact people’s lives,” he explained.
