Singer Dee eyes success
REGGAE artiste Singer Dee is looking to end 2016 on a high with the positive reception to his video Ten Toes.
Shot on location in Portland and Kingston, the video was directed by Leo Francis at Cassie Production and released in July.
According to the singer, the video gives a glimpse into his life while growing up and the struggles he faced.
“I openly shared my life story in this video because I want my music to impact the younger generation positively. Other artistes in the business have reached out to me and told me I’m on the right track with this single,” he told the Jamaica Observer.
Singer Dee said Ten Toes is doing well across the European and Caribbean market.
Released in May, the single is co-produced by Lava Voice Production and Markus Records.
“I describe my music as being relatable, and when fans watch the video they see a part of their lives as well. The single has been doing exceptionally well, but the video took it a step further because of its emotional content,” he said.
