Crown them kings

Common Kings, a four-member band from Orange County, California, enters the Billboard Reggae Album Chart at number one with Lost In Paradise.

Their debut removed Landon McNamara’s A Dollar Short & A Minute Late from the top spot. McNamara falls to number four.

This is Common Kings’ second entry on the chart. In 2015, they peaked at number two with the Hits & Mrs EP.

Lost In Paradise was released on February 3 by Island Empire Records.

Falling Into Place, the Grammy-nominated set from Rebelution, holds firm at number two, while Set In Stone by Stick Figure also maintains its number three position.

Wash House Ting by J Boog is number five. Rebelution’s Live At Red Rocks is number six.

New at number seven is My Soul by Samu. Bob Marley & the Wailers’ The Legend Live: Santa Barbara Country Bowl November 25th 1979 falls to number eight, while Jemere Morgan’s Transition is down to number nine.

Back in the Top 10, at number 10, is Revelation Part II: The Fruit of Life by Stephen Marley.

Interestingly, Ziggy Marley’s self-titled set which won the Grammy for Best Reggae Album last Sunday, is not in the Top 15.
