American caught with six bullets in luggage at NMIA
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Police officers at the Norman Manley International Airport today arrested an American man after he was found in possession of six rounds of ammunition.
Reports are that about 1:00 pm, the man arrived at the airport to board a flight destined to Miami, Florida in the US, when anomalies were detected in his suitcase during security x-ray.
His luggage was searched and six .38 rounds of ammunition were found in a leather pouch.
He is to be interviewed in the presence of his attorney.
His identity is being withheld pending further investigations.
