‘Aunt V’ to get Medal of Appreciation when PM visits today
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Super-centenarian Violet Mosse–Brown, affectinately called ‘Aunt V’, will today be presented with the Prime Minister’s Medal of Appreciation following her recent naming as the world’s oldest citizen.
According to a release from his office, Prime Minister Andrew Holness will make the presentation to Mosse–Brown when he visits her at her home in Duanvale, Trelawny.Holness stated that the country takes great pride in acknowledging Mosse – Brown, who was born on March 10, 1900 and became the oldest person alive on April 15 following the death of Emma Morano of Italy.
