CORRECTION
A report in the April 29 edition of the Observer on Saturday titled, ‘Romanian in ATM scam expected to plead guilty’, incorrectly reported that a Romanian and a Jamaican, who were recently held in Half-Way-Tree, St Andrew, with more than 20 fraudulent bank cards, are expected to plead guilty to fraud charges when they return to the Kingston and St Andrew Parish Court on May 10. However, the correct report should have been that their lawyers requested disclosure in the matter so that they can indicate their position on the next court date.
We regret the error.
