‘Reveller’ gets bail
Zachary Reid, the licensed firearm holder seen on video pointing his gun at motorists during Carnival Sunday in the Corporate Area, was offered $350,000 bail when he appeared in the Kingston & St Andrew Parish Court yesterday.
Conditions of his bail are that he surrenders his travel documents and reports to the Constant Spring Police Station on Mondays and Fridays.Reid is represented by Queens Counsel Tom Tavares-Finson and attorney Donahue Martin.The matter will next be mentioned on June 7.The 29-year-old, who co-operates the Grosvenor Cafe, on Grosvenor Terrace in St Andrew was arrested and charged with resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, assaulting the police, failure to hand over firearm for inspection, assault at common law, and illegal possession of firearm and ammunition.
