Deneese Wright’s funeral today
The funeral for late gospel artiste and radio broadcaster Deneese Wright is scheduled for the Fellowship Tabernacle on Fairfield Avenue in Kingston today.
The ceremony is slated for a 10:00 am start.“It’s Reverend Al Miller’s church… it’s close to the Boulevard Shopping Centre, off Washington Boulevard,” said Vaughn Simpson, brother of the deceased.Wright, who flew in from Canada, recalls his last conversation with his sister.“I spoke to her the morning before she died. I was telling her how she positively impacted my life. I said: ‘I Love You.’ The same day she passed away,” Simpson told the
Jamaica Observer.Interment is scheduled for Dovecot Memorial Park and Crematory in St Catherine.Wright, 46, passed away in the University Hospital of the West Indies in St Andrew on May 11. She was recently diagnosed with an aggressive form of malignant brain tumour known as glioblastoma multiforme and required surgery and a series of chemotherapy and radiation treatments. A
