Prince set to Reignn
BUDDING singjay Prince Reignn tells the story of his journey into music through his single Norbrook .
Released last year by Lifestyle Entertainment, Prince Reignn is hoping that the song will be an inspiration to its listeners.“I grew up in a community in St Thomas where I got no support from the residents there. No one really believed in my dreams, so I decided to take the bull by the horn. Hence, I came to Kingston only with a dream in 2014,” he said.Prince Reignn said with no family ties in the Corporate Area, he was forced “tough it out”. At one point, he had to sleep in a bus shed.“I really love music and I was willing to do whatever it takes to get my break. However, a lot of persons, including producers, just stop and listen my song and ask if it was me and drive away leave me. A lot of my struggles is highlighted in this song,” he told the
Jamaica Observer.The entertainer said he hopes this song will give him the breakthrough he is seeking as well as encourage others who are faced with similar challenges.“I just want to show the world and encourage others not to listen to negative critics.
