UPDATE: Pair believed buried in Negril house identified as 24-y-o woman, 3-y-o daughter
KINGSTON, Jamaica — The police have released the identities of a woman and her infant daughter, who are feared dead and their bodies buried in a makeshift tomb found inside a house in West End, Negril, Westmoreland today.
The police said that 24-year-old Shantal Dyer and her daughter, three-year-old Orlandie Miller were reported missing on Monday, June 05.According to the police, Dyer’s mother reported that she has been calling her daughter’s telephone for a number of weeks and all efforts proved futile hence, she decided to report her daughter and grandchild missing.Checks were subsequently made at Dyer’s home and the discovery made.The police also said that they have secured the scene and are currently awaiting the forensic experts to have the tomb excavated in order to proceed with the investigations.
