At the ‘To Lead Is To Serve’ dinner, organised by the PNP Women’s Movement at the Spanish Court Hotel, The Worthington, to fête former People’s National Party leader & President Emeritus Portia Simpson Miller — the island’s first and only female prime minister to date — esteemed members of the political party and corporate Jamaica, as well as the visiting political power couple United States representative for the 43rd congressional district of California Maxine Waters and her husband Ambassador Sidney Williams, shared in the celebration of a transitioning Rock icon. Tuesday Social continues the festivities of Saturday last.
