Foote leads American Advertising Federation
Arnold ‘JJ’ Foote, CEO of local advertising agency AdMark, Advertising & Marketing (Ja) Ltd, has been appointed President of the American Advertising Federation (AAF) — Caribbean Region/Caribbean Advertising Federation; a year-long post.
It is the first time any Jamaican has led the organisation, according to a recent news release.
Foote replaces Adeep Oberoi of Caribe Media Productions.
In the role, Foote will work to advance the AAF’s initiatives in the business of advertising, while aiding in the development, empowerment and recognition of the regional advertising industry, the release says.
“I am delighted to be leading AAF Caribbean and I will be dedicating my time to convincing corporate Caribbean that advertising is an important investment for the growth of business and a key to nation-building,” Foote said via the release.
Established in 1905, the American Advertising Federation (AAF) is comprised of nearly 100 corporate members made up of advertisers, agencies, and media companies and a network of nearly 200 local clubs representing 40,000 advertising professionals.
