RGD offers services at National Arena Independence Village
KINGSTON, Jamaica — The Registrar General’s Department (RGD) will be offering all its regular services, including birth, marriage, and death applications at the Jamaica Cultural Development Commission’s (JCDC) Independence Village which will be held from July 29 –August 6, at the National Arena.
The opening hours for the RGD at the Independence Village are 12:00 noon to 5:00 pm daily.
The RGD in a statement today said individuals will also be able to apply for genealogical searches through the department’s Genealogy Research Facility, which allows people to trace their family history through centuries of records in the Island Records Office.
To access services, people may download from the website www.rgd.gov.jm or collect forms at the RGD booth at the Independence Village. Completed application forms, with the relevant supporting documents and fees, may be submitted to the RGD booth.
