#London2017: Fedrick Dacres 4th in men’s discus
KINGSTON, Jamaica – Jamaica’s Fedrick Dacres missed out on the podium after he was placed fourth in the men’s discus final at the IAAF 2017 on day two of the IAAF World Championships, now underway in London, England.
He finished the event with a best throw of 65.83 metres.
Traves Smikle finished in 8th place, with his best effort being 64.04 metres coming in the second round.
The event was won by Andrius Gudzius of Lithuania with a best throw of 69.21.
Daniel Stahl of Sweden was placed second with a best throw of 69.19 and Mason Finley of the US placed third with a best throw of 68.03.
