#London2017: J’can quartet out of 100mH
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Jamaica’s quartet in the women’s 100-metre hurdles did not advance to tomorrow’s final of the event.
Reigning World Champion Danielle Williams had a terrible start and was unable to recover, clattering five hurdles en route to a fifth place finish in 13.14 seconds in heat two behind teammate Yanique Thompson, who finished third in 12.88s.
National Champion Meagan Simmonds was fourth in heat one, clocking 12.93s, while Rushell Burton ran 12.94s to finish fifth in the third heat.
