Gas prices down $1.25, diesel down $1.35
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see a decrease at the pumps in the price of gasoline and diesel, effective Thursday, August 24, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
87- and 90-octane gasoline will be sold for $115.13 and $117.97 per litre, respectively, down by $1.25 each.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $108.40 per litre following a decrease of $1.35, while ultra-low sulphur diesel is down by $1.36, and will be sold for $113.37 per litre.
Meanwhile, kerosene decreased in price by $0.52 and will be sold for $91.38 per litre.
Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $44.94 per litre, down by $0.14 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $52.12 per litre after an increase of $1.25.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-up to these prices.
