THE best talent Sandals and Beaches resorts have to offer will be on full display during the National Finals of Festival of Arts (formerly ENCORE) Talent and Model Competition at Sandals Ochi Beach Resort in St Ann this evening.

Categories to be contested include: Male Singer, Spoken Word, Female Singer Male Model, Female Model, Solo Dance category, and Group Dance DJ Clash.

The national finals will pit winners of the Ocho Rios, Montego Bay, Negril and White House Regions, in a battle royal to determine who will represent Jamaica in the International Finals scheduled for the same venue in September.

Garett Bailey Entertainment Division Managers at Sandals Ocho Rios said he was very excited to be hosting the event at his property and was looking forward to a high level of competition.

“Over the past several weeks all the various regions have selected their top talents and they have all been working assiduously to bring their A game to the national finals. This company has tremendous talent and guests will be treated to an awesome evening. The competition, of course, will be very stiff so may the best talents win,” said Bailey.

Bailey said The Sandals Festival of Arts gets bigger and better every year and the 2017 staging promises to be an extraordinary production.

“Everyone has stepped up their ‘A’ game this year. All the regions are brimming with excitement as they seek to compete against their counterparts, “ Bailey said.

“Our company continues to create a platform for employees to showcase their talent. The feedback we have gotten from the public has grown tremendously and has progressed into an event that is highly anticipated,” he concluded.

The Sandals talents competing are : Toni Gay O’ Mealy, Shaquille Blake, Jordinni Salmon, Devon Cole, Tristion Irving, Annecia Morgan, Mellow Shakes, Leo Artwell, Jason McIntyre, Wilton Walters, Ashley Thomas, Samara Jones, Shanique McNeil, Trishanna Coleman, Shannon Bright, Luckieann Dyer, Warren Brown, Neacus Smith, Renaldo Gray, Melvin Gray, Shavaughn Sewell, Shelly-Dean Bartley, Patrick Ramsay, Andre Greaves, Gerine Thompson, Justin Morris, and Jevaughn Graham.
