Sizzla earns career best debut

I’m Yours, the latest album from Sizzla Kalonji, has debuted at number three on Billboard’s Reggae album chart. It also debuts at number four on Billboard’s Heatseekers album chart.

Sizzla has charted over 26 titles on the Billboard chart to date, and I’m Yours is his highest charting effort so far.

“The album connect… Many more surprises to come forth,” Sizzla said.

“ I’m Yours was released on August 11 via FX Music Group. Producer Jon FX was just as upbeat about the success of the album.

“It’s phenomenal to see what persistence and a formula can do,” said Jon FX.

Jon FX, who has worked with numerous artistes over the years, lent his production skills to what has been described as one of Sizzla’s best works to date.

“I have done many songs with Sizzla, and this album is considered a summary of what Sizzla has done and where he has been. Pertaining to sound, it’s amazing to see how he has evolved over the years from the standard one drop all the way to Afrobeat and that’s an amazing thing,” said Jon FX.

The 11-track set features collaborations with Ghanaian recording artistes Stonebwoy (winner of several awards including the BET Award for Best African Artiste) and Mz Vee, another award winner.

Tracks on the album include Incomplete, Experience, Fair Chance, Model, and My Girl.
