UNITED States-based Dezey Coyotee is riding high with his summer single Way Up .
Released recently, the song is produced by Boss Ale’n Music (Nicholas Williams).
The singjay said he is pleased with Way Up’s progress and hopes it will break musical barriers worldwide.
“It’s the summer and the parties are in full swing, so it’s really fitting right now. I knew from the moment it was recorded that it was going to do well and, so far, I am pleased with the results. I hope it will continue to make positive strides,” he told Jamaica Observer.
Dezey Coyotee says his music represents culture, dance and fun. He comes with high-energy rhymes, catchy hooks and solid production.
Dezey Coyotee, whose real name is Fernando Goffe, was born in Kingston. He migrated to the US and attended the University of Massachusetts in Amherst where he studied film. He holds bachelor’s degree with a focus on television production.
He has, however, stuck to his musical roots. He said his lifelong commitment to music is not for fame or popularity.
“I do music without expectations. The love never stops, it grows,” he said.
