Three St Mary farmers shot dead
ST MARY, Jamaica — Three farmers were shot dead yesterday by unknown assailants on their way to their farm in St Mary.
Dead are 37-year-old Lincoln Crossdale, otherwise called ‘Blacks’, 25-year-old Ricardo Griffiths and 24-year-old Sherwaine Campbell otherwise called ‘Murgie’ all of Crab Hall district in the parish.
Reports from the Annotto Bay Police are that about 9:30 am all three men were on their way to Crossdale’s farm when they came out of the vehicle in which they were travelling and were reportedly ambushed by seven men.
The police said that the gunmen fired hitting the farmers several times.
The three men were rushed to hospital where they were pronounced dead.
