New Bazzle app measures Jamaican moods
Bazzle Amusement has introduced their latest mobile application, a social app which polls the moods of Jamaicans.
The Tallable Android app tally’s users moods by asking, “How do you feel?” Users are then able to see a tally of how others on the island are also feeling at that moment — whether they are feeling the same, better or worse.
In addition, users are invited to not only to share their moods, but to comment on the moods of others. They can also reply to comments received on their moods.
They can access the moods for each moment by simply downloading the app. However, to vote, see results and comment, users must register with their email address and verify with their phone number.
Each person has only one vote, thus allowing for a tally that is truly reflective of Jamaican users.
Registration on the app requires the user’s name for a personal user experience, but interaction amongst users is anonymous. This is so as to ensure that users are able to express themselves freely, without reservation.
How Jamaicans are feeling right now and their distribution across the moods is graphed in a bar chart and pie chart on the results page.
Users are also able to message the developer to address any queries or concerns they may have. The application is available on Google Play and is only Android-based, so those on iPhones and OS are unfortunately unable able to partake right now.
This is the third application from Bazzle Amusement, and is only available locally.
The company is also working on an update to their Outknown Community Connections Application.
The Tallable app is a personal experience app and hopes to tap into the desire of individuals to give and receive advice.
“We all have advice when we are feeling great, and we all have advice when we are feeling terrible. The Tallable app is the place to share what we are personally going through or experiencing, and talk to someone else without our past being important, or our future being an issue,” said Basil Jones Jr, app developer and media producer at Bazzle Amusement, via news release.
Jones plans to continue to improve the application and further grow the application’s features.
“Apart from the polling aspect of the app, which we are going to exploit in future versions of the app, there is a private chat feature between each user and us, the Tallable Team, in the ‘About’ section of the app. We plan to roll out private chat between users in a future version in order to extend conversation beyond the notes section of the app.”
