NCB offering shoppers great rewards during TSO
With just one day to go before this year’s staging of Jamaica Observer Takes Style Out (TSO), National Commercial Bank (NCB) is offering fee waivers valued at up to $4,000 to anyone who signs up for NCB cards ahead of the five-hour discount shopping frenzy.
The offer from the financial institution will help shoppers acquire the items they need it during the retail therapy event.
Tomorrow, when TSO gets into full swing starting at 5:00 pm, NCB says it will have human mannequins clad in stylish, branded outfits in store-front displays at the Mall and Village plazas in Half-Way-Tree. The mannequins, the bank noted, will be available to strike a pose with customers.
In addition, persons dressed in life-sized NCB cards — NCB Credit, Prepaid, NCB Visa Gold, Visa Classic, and Lovebird KeyCard — will roam Tropical, Mall, and Village plazas, giving customers an opportunity to win $10,000 when they take a photo with any of the cards and post on social media using the hash tags #GreatRewardswithNCB & #NCBTSO. Winners will be selected based on most likes received.
Also, branding and promotional girls will be at Appliance Traders Limited stores in Kingston encouraging credit card usage and giving out goodies.
NCB will also support the Yello Fashion Show at Devon House by offering a centralised payment facility to allow cardholders to use their cards to purchase items from designers on show.
The bank said it will also stage activities at select NCB Merchants — Flirt Boutique, ATL, Maxies, etc — in which discounts and NCB-branded goodies will be given away once an NCB credit card is used to make a purchase. Coupons will be at merchants, giving cardholders a chance to receive extra rewards such as bonus cash back or travel rewards, and up to 50 per cent discount when they spend a certain amount. Additionally, a gift bag will be present from which cardholders may select coupons.
Throughout the five-hour event, NCB will promote its Credit Card Instalment Plan. Cardholders are being encouraged to make purchases of $100,000 or more at large retailers, furniture and appliance, building/hardware and car part and accessories stores to benefit from zero per cent interest for three months or up to 12 months at low interest rates.
Purchases made using NCB cards during TSO will earn cardholders cash back or travel rewards.
