Windies A 127-7 vs Sri Lanka at lunch
TRELAWNY, Jamaica— Sri Lanka A Left arm spinner Malinda Pushpakumara in partnership with fast bowlers ripped out the heart of the West Indies A middle order to keep his team firmly in command of the second ‘Test’ at Lunch on day two at the Trelawny Multi Purpose Stadium here.
Finding an alarming turn from a good length at the southern end, Pushpakumara had figures of 4-51 as the hosts went to the break at 127-7 replying to Sri Lanka A’s 294 all out on the first day. That means West Indies A still need another 18 runs to avoid the possibility of being asked to follow on.
Fast bowlers Kasun Rajitha 1-27, Asitha Fernando 1-27 and offspinner Shan Jayasuirya , 1-5, have provided support for Pushpakumara.
Rahkeem Cornwall (43 off 38 balls) and Sheldon Cottrell (17) will resume for West Indies A after the break.
