Sizzla, Sasco, Chris for Sunday’s PAN final
AN array of entertainment offerings will be served to patrons attending Sunday’s Grand Finals of the PAN 2017 event in Half-Way-Tree, St Andrew.
According to CB Foods’ events and promotions coordinator Kemoi Burke, the Best of the Best will be on display.
“Three formidable Jamaican acts with international acclaim will take the stage to entertain patrons and we’re so excited for them to be a part of PAN,” said Burke.
Sizzla, Agent Sasco and Christopher Martin are set to light up with their respective catalogue of hits.
“Sizzla is no stranger to PAN; he always delivers. Christopher Martin and Agent Sasco have performed at our regional eliminations this year and people have requested them to be back. It’s going to be an afternoon of non-stop entertainment,” said Burke.
Sizzla, who has had a long string of hits over his more than 20-year career, is excited to be a part of the PAN 2017 line-up.
“Patrons can expect a high spirit of love, joy and happiness through my performance. I’m going to give an electrifying vibe,” said Sizzla.
He gave his thoughts about the PAN competition and the significance it played in the lives of pan chicken vendors across the island.
“I think every good deed goes towards uplifting and motivating people in every good sense. People are really appreciative of the help being given to them in every way,” she said.
National Baking Company has been a long-standing partner of PAN. This year the company introduced a competition using its Giant Hardo bread as a side order.
“We at National decided to sponsor a side order competition to inspire these micro entrepreneurs to diversify their businesses. We take every opportunity to support the efforts of grass-root Jamaicans and this is another opportunity to do so. We are looking forward to the finals,” said Marketing Manager Donnette Hines.
PAN 2017 will see 28 finalists (including two wild cards) competing for PAN Chicken supremacy.
The top three finalists will win cash and prizes courtesy of CB Foods and other sponsors. A business development grant courtesy of JNSBL will be among the prizes given to the first-place winner. A winner will also be selected for the Miracle Tomato Ketchup Tallawah Sauce competition.
