Time for unity in St Mary SE
Dear Editor,
To see pictures circulating on social media of Dr Norman Dunn pushing a handcart with a picture of Dr Shane Alexis slated for a mock burial speak volumes to a lack of class and integrity.
While such mockery can be expected from some supporters, such a display of ignorance sends a sad message.
With all the venom spewed leading up to the by-election in St Mary South Eastern, the leaders should be guiding their supports towards unity and peace, instead of this display.
Dr Shane Alexis, the “foreigner”, has seemingly accepted his defeat with class, dignity and grace. The victor must show no less.
