REGGAE-ROCK sextet Fortunate Youth earns its fourth number one on this week’s Billboard Reggae a lbum c hart. The California-based outfit debuts with EP Sugar Shack Sessions which sold 409 copies.

Sugar Shack Sessions contains five tracks and was released on November 10.

Earlier this year, the group’s self-titled fourth studio effort also debuted at number one. The group now has a total five titles which occupied the top three spots. They are: 2013’s It’s All a Jam (number one); 2015’s Don’t Think Twice (number one); and 2014’s Dub Collections Vol 1 EP (number three).

Six-member Ohio band, Tropidelic debuts at number three with Heavy is the Hand. Released on November 10 via LAW Records, the set sold 285 copies in its opening week. This is the group’s first charting album.

London-based singer/songwriter/producer Randy Valentine debuts at number 11 with New Narrative. The nine-track set moved 66 copies. Valentine, whose real name is Ronald Junior Fritz, relocated from Clarendon some 14 years ago.

The various artistes compilation series Strictly the Best Vol 56 debuts at number 14 with 54 copies. The compilation features 14 tracks and features artistes including Junior Kelly, Spiritual, Christopher Martin, Richie Spice, Ginjah, Queen Ifrica, Raging Fyah and Romain Virgo.

Poetry in Motion by SOJA holds firm at number two, while last week’s number one title Marching Orders by The Green falls to number four.

Stony Hill by Damian Marley is down to number five, while rising one spot is More to Say Versions by the Frightnrs.

Havana Meets Kingston by Mista Savona slips four places down to number seven, while Chronology by Chronixx rises to number eight.

Rebelution’s Falling Into Place moves up to number nine, while, Reggae Gold 2017 shoots up to number 10.

Lily of Da Valley, a former chart-topper for Jesse Royal, slips to number 12, while Lost in Paradise by Common Kings moves up a notch to number 13.

Box Full of Steel by the Dubplates re-enters the chart at number 15.
