Boom Steppa to release EP
Boom Steppa is gearing up to release his second EP titled Happy. The seven-track set is due in February.
Tracks were produced by Nexxstep Network, Tripple B Productions (Canada based), Inex Records (UK based) and Antigua-based Dragunzden Productions.
The 30-year-old Boom Steppa (real name Fabian Wilson) is best known for his 2010 effort Naw Stay Poor.
“My musical journey has basically been the testament of my life journey. All my ups and downs and ins and out, good moments and bad moments. But all experiences are priceless,” he said.
Hailing from Central Village in St Catherine, Steppa realised he had an inkling for music at an early age and soon thereafter began aligning his focus in that direction. With the daily evolution of his lyrical skillset he steadily adapted the mindset of a recording artiste and continued honing his craft while attending the Jonathan Grant High school.
He was introduced to the Black Roots studio operated by the late veteran rock steady icon Sugar Minnott where he recorded his very first single entitled Ghetto Life.
After Joining forces with Paul Gordon of Kemistry Records in 2013 the two produced several projects including the remix of Never Stop Pray (My Mother) featuring Chronixx, and Delly Ranx.
