Lasco pays for exams
LASCO Financial Services Limited (LFSL) has awarded 14 students from seven high schools across the island awards of $10,000 each to cover fees to sit the 2017-2018 Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC) examinations in principles of business, principles of accounts, information technology, economics, and French or Spanish. The students are Jada-Pink Dean and Tyreek Walker, of Dinthill Technical; Moesha Cameron and Amanda Fenner of Merl Grove; Monique Bennett and Krisanna Ellis from Papine High; Shanoya Fearon and Devoy Stanford from Ocho Rios High; Owayne Brimm and Britania Salmon of Titchfield High; and Shakeem Thompson and Shahid Burke of Cornwall College. The awards were based on needs, academic performance and behaviour/conduct.
