Dr Raulston Nembhard’s column, in the Jamaica Observer of December 20, 2017, headlined ‘Get the Israelis to help with our crime problem’, must not be followed in the least.

When we see how, with consummate ease, the Israelis murder and kill Palestinian children for their own land, it must make us think of them as heartless. There are thousands of Palestinians, now living in refugee camps in Lebanon, Jordan and Syria, looking forward to the day when they shall return to Jerusalem.

The black race must never forget how the Israelis dumped the blood donated by Ethiopians because their citizens in the hospitals preferred death rather than accepting the blood of black people in their veins.

Zionism is Apartheid-ism, and we reject any notion of allowing them to bring it here.

If we are to seek help with our crime problem from anyone it must be the Cubans. They have less than 100 murders per year, with a population three times ours. This is achieved despite the blockade and the overt and covert actions by the Americans against them. Plus, they are just 90 miles away.

It was also in Cuba that Marcus Garvey had the most Universal Negro Improvement Association branches, even more than in Jamaica.
