Flash flood watch discontinued for all parishes

KINGSTON, Jamaica — The Meteorological Service has discontinued the flash flood watch for low lying and flood prone areas of all parishes effective immediately.

Satellite imagery and radar reports indicated a decrease in showers across most parishes throughout the day.

The forecast is for weather conditions to gradually improve across the island as the atmosphere becomes more stable.

The Meteorological Service said it will continue to monitor the situation.
