PHOTO: On the drive!

After a lean spell with the West Indies team in recent months, former Holmwood Technical High School cricket captain and batting star Jermaine Blackwood returned to form with a bang late last week. Blackwood, a 26-year-old native of eastern Westmoreland, had polished, attacking knocks of 81 and 70 as the Jamaica Scorpions defeated Leeward Islands Hurricanes by 57 runs at Sabina Park in their Regional Four Day Championship match which ended yesterday.
