Weather Update: Scattered showers expected over northern parishes

KINGSTON, Jamaica — The Meteorological Service (Met Service) of Jamaica has reported that scattered showers are expected over northern parishes today.

Come this afternoon, widespread showers are to be expected over northern parishes and inland areas of southern parishes.

The Met Service informed that the Stationary Front that has been affecting the island over the past few days is expected to be enhanced by a Trough east of Jamaica.

The Front will stay over the Jamaica area for at least two days, before weakening late on Friday, said Met Service.
