Weather Update: Mainly sunny islandwide
KINGSTON, Jamaica — In the local weather forecast the Meteorological (Met) Service of Jamaica is reporting that this morning will be mainly sunny islandwide.
This afternoon should be partly cloudy with windy conditions mainly across southern parishes, while tonight should be mainly fair, the Met Service said.
There is a high pressure ridge across Jamaica, in addition to a low-level jet across the central Caribbean.
The high pressure ridge is expected to remain across the island over the next few days and windy conditions are expected in southern parishes.
