90-year-old runner ready for Sigma Run
Veteran runner Roy Thomas is overjoyed as he collects his Sagicor Sigma Corporate Run race package from Sagicor team member and volunteer Keisha Mitchell yesterday, at the Sigma Run Secretariat in New Kingston. The 90-year-old is arguably the oldest marathon runner in Jamaica. The Sagicor Sigma Corporate Run, which takes place tomorrow morning in New Kingston, aims to raise $50 million for the Spanish Town Hospital Special Care/Neonatal Unit and St Christopher’s School for the Deaf in Brown’s Town, St Ann.
