Woman steals money from wheelchair-bound lover
A young woman who stole US$250 and $15,000 from a man whom she claimed is her lover, is to return to court tomorrow to repay him his money.
Shinel Davidson pleaded guilty to simple larceny when she appeared in court on Friday before Parish Judge Vaughn Smith.
The court heard that on the day in question, Davidson was visiting her lover when he noticed that his money was missing and asked her about it, and she returned his US$100.
As a result, the complainant reported the matter.
However, when Davidson was cautioned she reportedly told the police: “How mi fi thief from somady wey mi deh wid.”
But the complainant, who, attended court in a wheelchair did not confirm whether or not they were involved in a relationship.
However, the judge extended Davidson’s bail and told her to return to court on Monday with the rest of the complainant’s money.
